You know what's great about taking pictures of the various hills on the Pentland Hills Regional Park is you get to find out what they're actually called, something which isn't always advertised very well, even on the park's website itself.

And if you know the area, beyond the path past the ridge you'll eventually get to the Midlothian Snowsports Centre, where you can go skiing even when there's no snow on the hills
