Here’s another post I’ve been wanting to compile for a while. In the last 12 months, a variety of signature guitars, amps and effect pedals have been released, most of which presented at the 2009 NAMM show so here’s a selected list of the artists I follow:
Paul Gilbert
The Detox EQ:

It’s Paul’s first signature pedal and is sold through Home Brew Electronics (HBE for short 😉 )
For more details, Jenn (aka Metalichicka) did a great blog post about it, check it out!
Airplane Flanger:

This is one cool looking pedal, produced by Ibanez this time. If you’ve ever heard songs like Paul vs. Godzilla, you’ll know what Paul’s flanger sound is like. But there’s a lot more this can do and it looks like a great tool for some great effects.
Ibanez PGM-FRM1 (aka ‘Fireman’):

This is Paul’s famous inverted fireman model he created himself in Photoshop. Now sold as a very limited edition guitar by Ibanez at the recommended price of $9,333.33, it’s not the kind of guitar you’d buy if you were just starting to learn to play. Personally I’m not really a fan of the design but that doesn’t mean the sound Paul gets out of this isn’t awesome!
In fact, let me pass you over to Paul 😀 :
Ibanez PGM401 :

This one has been used by Paul in many of his instructional videos and also on stage, it’s yet another PGM to be released (I forget where we’re at now 😛 ). Here’s a few words from the master himself:
Great for rock, blues, metal, and shred. […] […]the tone is warmer and thicker on this guitar, with just the right amount of bite.
It will allow you to shred, with TONE.
No wammy bar though
Steve Vai
Ibanez Jemini:

And rather than blabber on about it, I’ll let Steve and himself tell you about it 😉 :
Carvin Legacy II:

Oh look, an amp signature series. Makes a change from guitars and stomp boxes. Again rather than bore you wity stats and specs, here’s Steve presenting it at the NAMM 09 show:
Joe Satriani
The Satchurator:

Nice distortion pedal to capture Joe’s sound. Click on the image for more details and a video of Joe discussing the pedal
The Time Machine:

Well chosen name for a JS signature delay pedal 😉 Click the image for more details.
I think that’ll be all for the time being. There are many more artists who have released signature equipment but those 3 are some of my favourites so that’s why I showcase them 😉
