Fox is apparently in "serious talks" with Chris, David and Gillian for more episodes of +The X-Files
This may sound like déjà-vu but following the news reports a few months back that talks were happening, Gillian made it clear that nobody had been speaking to her about more episodes. Now it's still subject to the holy trinity confirming such talks are happening but it seems there is progress at Fox at least.
Still at this stage we're probably looking at winter 2018 at the earliest for new episodes

I hope they won't sell any rights to ProSiebenSat.1 Media SE – they [ProSiebenSat.1 Media SE] already ruined S10E1 to 6 due to "financial decisions".

+Jean-Loup Rebours-Smith They did not only cut out some of the scenes but they have also replaced Mulder's dubbing actor. The change of a familiar voice is a total mood killer.
