James Fran joins the cast of +Star Trek Discovery as Spock's father Sarek
And boy I missed a whole lot of announcements on this series. Apparently Michelle Yeoh will play the ship's captain and Doug Jones also joined the cast. That's some seriously big names right there, this should be interesting to watch.

How come they did not get the guy who played young Sarek in Star Trek V??

Probably because he isn't high profile enough, his career seems fairly scarce.
