Marvel just announced a straight-to-series order of 10 episodes of Marvel's New Warriors, a new comedy show to be featured on Freeform, the same network which will soon air Cloak and Dagger.
New Warriors is supposed to be about 6 young powered people but so far we only know that Squirrel Girl will be part of the gang. The roster of the New Warriors has been quite diverse over the years and has included the likes of Tigra, Nova, Namorita and a whole bunch of others you've probably never heard of before.
A comedy show from Marvel is long overdue, now that Damage Control has (likely) been subsumed into the Spider-man – Homecoming storyline, there's a void to be filled in the genre
