Guarding Gladstone's Land – Edinburgh

This golden statuette lives above the sign at the entrance of Gladstone's Land, one of the oldest buildings on Edinburgh's Royal Mile. It has been restored and reconstructed to showcase how a 17th century merchant such as its first owner Thomas Gladstone would have lived.
