The events in France today have been nothing short of historical, I have been riveted to French radio all day pretty much from 8:15am, round about when the first hostage crisis was announced.
Now it’s more or less over, I do wish it hadn’t ended with so many casualties but at least the perpetrators won’t hurt anyone anymore, not in this life anyway. My thoughts are with all those people who lost someone today, yesterday and on Wednesday because of these fanatics.
These events will shake France to its core, they already call it the French 9/11, I just hope this will not mean more liberties being taken away the way the US and the UK have done in the past 13 years but only time will tell at this point.
