Marvel confirms that Mayhem will be Cloak and Dagger season 2 villain.
I have to say I was very pleasantly surprised with this first season. Given that on paper this looked like something aimed at younger audiences, this turned out to not be the case at all. In terms of character development it was quite interesting to see the main protagonists rise, fall and get back up again. There were a few holes here and there but overall I did enjoy it and I am looking forward to season 2, which will likely not be for another year or so, the joys of 10-episodes seasons.
