We’ve had rather plain posters before in previous seasons but this one, I think, beats them all in its simplicity. The poster was unveiled earlier today along with the announcement that the show, along with Cloak and Dagger, will be at WonderCon in Anaheim on 30 March. That means we’re likely going to get a proper release date then along with possibly a new trailer.
You’ll notice the featured characters are almost the same as previous seasons, only now Deke has replaced Coulson. So in order from left to right we have:
- Deke
- Yoyo
- May
- Mack
- Daisy
- Jemma
- Fitz
Notice how the last two are deliberately placed further on the right, which denotes two separate story lines, one of which will be the quest for CryoFitz. I’m really hoping they’ll bring hunter back once more just to help them get started on that since he did help in episode 5 last season and it would be good to have those two (Hunter and Bobbi) back, even for just one episode.
Now I said the poster didn’t have Coulson in it but it does have whoever Clark Gregg will be playing if you look carefully… Nice touch being behind the letters rather than in front of it.
