Comfort zones

You break some, you inexorably stay stuck in others…

I recently took some training to try and help people in some way. As someone who’s not a people person, that was quite a challenge, and it’s not something I’ll be comfortable doing from the get-go but I can sense that with a bit of practice, this should become easier with time. Practice may not make perfect, but it’s supposed to get you close to it.

Yes “supposed” because sometimes you practice for days, months and years and still find yourself incapable of playing (we switched to music now) anything remotely meaningful. That is frustrating me more than I’d like to (no one likes to be frustrated) but I feel like I have to keep at it and maybe some day it will all make sense. And if I was more of a people person, maybe I could seek out others to play with. Yes I’m afraid some things just keep coming back don’t they?
