I’m really happy to have passed my personal goal of collecting at least £200 worth of donation for the Edinburgh KiltWalk which is this coming Sunday. If you’re reading this and have already contributed, thank you again, it really means a lot. If you haven’t yet but wish to contribute, have a look at the donation page, it’s never too late to chip in. There are 3 of us walking 14.5 miles around Edinburgh for the benefit of SAMH. I’m still unsure whether I have the stamina to walk that much in one day but I sure will give it my best.
And of course it seemed appropriate to illustrate this with a bleeding heart flower. I’ve tried to grow a bulb in a pot on my front porch but that didn’t work somehow. I’ll have to try again directly into the soil next time if I can. It’s a shame as it’s such a pretty flower.
