McLennan Arch – Glasgow

I already posted a picture of this some time ago on Google+. The post is likely still in here somewhere, though I suspect the photo needs updating. In any case I was inspired again to go back in my archives and play around with something that might be worth sharing.

I must say, although I quite like the perspective, it lacks something in the foreground for interest. However I’m rather pleased with how I managed to salvaged the nearly completely washed out sky. I nearly went overboard with the colours but decided to keep it tame in the end. I hope you like it.

    I think it’s nice. The lack of something in the foreground makes the emphysis very much on the arch, which I find quite effective. The only change I’d make is to crop the sky so that the sky and pavement fill the same amount of space. Well done, dear!
