It’s really tricky to take pictures almost directly into the sun, the variation in contrast in the resulting image can be difficult to work with. But sometimes you just have to give it a go and see what happens. The end results has some interesting flare after a bit of processing which I wasn’t really expecting.
This image is almost a year old now but hopefully I’ll get another chance to try some more autumn shots in the next few months as it’s a rare opportunity for colourful images … when it does rain that is.
