The Kelpies, Falkirk, Scotland #2

Continuing from the series on the Kelpies I started a few weeks ago, this is another perspective on one of the two sculptures. Interestingly it was my daughter who suggested incorporating the reflection into the pond into the photograph. The late afternoon light, although still quite bright gives it just enough contrast without being too harsh to be quite a compelling picture if I may say so.

If memory serves, it is actually tricky to find just the right spot for a nice picture as there is a big ugly pylon right behind the statue as hinted by the cables on the left of the image.
